Frequently Asked Questions for Psychologists
Here are answers to some of the most common questions about my training, resources, and professional offerings.
Are Amanda Moses Psychology’s trainings suitable for psychologists outside Australia?
Yes. My training programs are designed around core psychological principles, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice that are relevant across many professional contexts. Psychologists from both Australia and internationally regularly engage with my trainings and resources.
Where specific regulatory or exam-related frameworks are referenced, these are clearly identified. The majority of the content focuses on transferable clinical skills, assessment thinking, and therapeutic decision-making that can be applied across different settings and countries.
Are Amanda Moses Psychology’s trainings CPD-accredited?
Yes. All Amanda Moses Psychology trainings are developed as CPD (also referred to as CE in some international contexts) programs, and include certificates of completion outlining the course topic and learning hours for your records.
As with all professional development activities, how these hours are recorded and recognised depends on your professional body, regulatory requirements, and individual learning plan.
Who are Amanda Moses Psychology’s trainings designed for?
Amanda Moses Psychology’s trainings and resources are designed primarily for psychologists at all stages of their careers, both in Australia and internationally. This includes provisional psychologists preparing for the National Psychology Exam, as well as experienced clinicians seeking advanced professional development, diagnostic assessment training, and practical therapy tools.
Many trainings are also relevant for allied health and other mental health professionals who work in assessment, therapy, or neurodiversity-affirming practice, and who are seeking evidence-based, clinically grounded education.
Do I need prior assessment experience to complete the Autism and ADHD Diagnostic Assessment Training?
No. The training is suitable for clinicians who are new to autism and ADHD assessment and want structured, practical guidance.
It is equally valuable for experienced psychologists, as it focuses on more contemporary approaches to assessing autism and ADHD that many clinicians were not trained in previously.
Can the NPE Preparation Course be counted toward internship professional development hours?
Yes. Time spent completing the NPE Preparation Course, Lite Course, and associated practice resources can be logged as part of your internship professional development hours, in line with AHPRA guidelines.
The course is designed to support learning and skill development relevant to internship requirements. As with all professional development activities, hours should be recorded appropriately and discussed with your supervisor in accordance with current AHPRA requirements.
